If you are still looking for some Thanksgiving recipes today, here’s a round-up of what’s worked for us, while keeping it healthy!
My assignment for Thanksgiving this year, is none other than the Turkey! I bought a Roaster this year so I actually made a Turkey a few weeks ago to test it out. The turkey turned out perfect! I hated buying the appliance that I will likely only use once or twice a year, but at the same time, I should have it for many, many years to come, right?
I’ve been making these EVERY YEAR, but this year, my sister in law volunteered the rolls. I just might make them anyway, because they are so delicious!!
I love to put out the veggies before dinner. It’s more likely that kids will snack on vegetables while they are hungry, than while they are stuffed with delicious rolls. So, if you have a chance, make the vegetables your appetizers. Add hummus, ranch, or a cheese ball for dipping.
This pumpkin dessert is a keeper! Growing up, my dad would make pumpkin pie filling without the crust, because my mom always had an allergy to something or another. So, I grew up not realizing other people ate pumpkin pie over crust. As a result, the filling is my favorite part!
